According to sources, the final specifications of AMD’s next-gen Zen 4-based Ryzen 7000 series have been revealed.
As we await the official announcement, here are the specifications for the Ryzen 7000 series.
Ryzen 9 7950X
The Ryzen 9 7950X features 16 cores and 32 threads. The flagship CPU will have higher clock speeds than the Zen3 5950X model, with the base clock and boost clock measuring up to 4.5 GHz and 5.7 MHz, respectively. This SKU has a higher TDP of nearly 170W.
Ryzen 9 7900X
The Ryzen 9 7900X has 12 cores and a higher base clock of 4.7 GHz, which is 1 GHz faster than the Ryzen 9 5900X. However, the base clock only measures 5.6 GHz. The TDP for this model is the same as the flagship 7950X, i.e., 170W.
Ryzen 7 7700X
The 8-core Ryzen 7 7700X will boost up to 5.4 GHz, with a base clock of 4.5 GHz and a default TDP of 105W.
Ryzen 5 7600X
The Ryzen 5 series is also getting a Zen 4 upgrade. The Ryzen 5 7600X will feature a faster boost clock, measuring up to 5.3 GHz. The SKU will have a TDP of 105W.
The mid-range Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 5 models will only feature increased clock speeds.
Every Ryzen 7000 CPU will have an increased cache size compared to its predecessor. However, the L3 cache remains constant in all models. AMD is reportedly working with 3D V-Cache for the Raphael series.
AMD is scheduled to launch the Ryzen 7000 series on 15th September. The official series announcement will be held on 29th August.
