Square Enix, the developers of the upcoming Final Fantasy 16, have announced an update.
Square-Enix’s long-running franchise will get the latest title Final Fantasy 16. The game will have a pre-launch demo starting at 1:00 AM PT on Monday, June 12th, for all PS5 players to download for free.
demo will be a little heavy in cutscenes since it’s the opening part of the game.

Naoki Yoshida, the game designer and creative director at Square Enix, had earlier announced that the plan was to release a demo of Final Fantasy 16 closer to the release date.
This would be done to prevent the hype from going stale too quickly. Addressing the logistics of it, Yoshida clarified that while the release is at 1:00 AM PT, the release might not be simultaneous across all servers globally.
Yoshida also gave another heads-up. He said that despite the gameplay spanning at least 2 hours, there would be lengthy cutscenes, which take place early in the game to set the plot.
In-game, players will get to experience Clive Rosfield’s teenage through adulthood. They will also get to wield the power of the game’s various Eikons in various ways.
Yoshida also added to the hype by saying that there would be a special battle segment available from the title screen after players complete the initial segment of the Final Fantasy 16 demo. This battle segment would enable players to try out Clive’s Eikonic abilities.
One important thing to note is that the progress from the demo would carry forward into the main game after the official release on June 22nd.
The storage space required for the demo of Final Fantasy 16 remains unknown. While two hours is just a drop in the ocean compared to the length of Final Fantasy 16, players will have to download this to enjoy the Eikonic power on their own.
