14 year-old and his father set new Call of Duty: Warzone Kill Record.
The New Year saw a new Call of Duty: Warzone record get broken. A father-son established a new record for kills in the community-favourite playlist, Duos, with 79 kills. With players and their partners eager to compete online and prove their worth to claim “The best team” title, the father-son duo went a notch ahead by setting a new record in the process.
Bruno “Nistaf” Silva and his father set a new record for kills in Call of Duty: Warzone Duos with 79 kills. This new record total comprises Bruno’s 61 kills and his father’s 18 kills, with the combined total breaking the previous record of 76 kills.
The father-son duo recorded and shared their massacre in Verdansk on YouTube. Silva’s ice-cold calm and composure saw him mercilessly amassing 61 kills, using every tool and weapon in his arsenal to achieve such impressive numbers.
From driving over opponents in an SUV to knife kills and accurate akimbo pistol shots, Silva sent everyone to their death. A significant chunk of his kills came at the hands of the DMR-14. However, amassing 61 kills can’t just be credited to having an OP Marksmen Rifle.
Silva racked up 17,000 points of damage during his world-record-breaking match. The ace-sniper showed incredible skill in shooting opponents downrange.
His father claims that Silva honed his sniping and shooting skills by playing games like PUBG, Fortnite, and Apex Legends. Before the match, Silva Jr. had a good practice session, amassing a personal best of 48 kills. Looks like the kid got trained by legendary Finnish sniper, Simo Hayha (White death) himself.
The fans got to witness this exquisite display of skills thanks to the rule which requires submission of world-record matches in a video format. Still images are not allowed as proof of achievement.
Some veteran warzone showed displeasure with the integration of Black Ops: Cold War, especially because of the addition of certain weapons. Nevertheless, the Silva team’s record total is expected to stand for a long, long time.
