Fate/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn- is an animated film based on the Fate/strange Fake novel by Ryogo Narita. Originally supposed to release as a part of the New Year’s Eve TV Special, the project was delayed due to production issues.
On Saturday, during the premiere of ‘The Fate Project New Year’s Eve TV Special’, a six-minute video of the upcoming series was released. The video revealed more members of the cast and staff, including theme song artists. It also announces its release in the summer of 2023.
SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]:Laco has performed the theme song “FAKEit” for the film. Fate/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn- will be released in both English subtitles and dub on the same day.

More staff members were also revealed during the premiere. Studio A-1 Pictures will produce and handle the animation for the series. Shun Enokido and Takahito Sakazume will direct the series, with Daisuke Ohigashi working on the scripts.
Yukei Yamada is designing the characters and will also be the chief animation director. Hiroyuki Sawano will compose the music.
Fate/strange Fake was originally published on April 1, 2008, as ‘Fate/states night’ by Ryogo Narita as an intro to an RPG game. While this was intended to be a prank and was later removed, it was released again as a novel, leading to a novel series and a manga series in 2015.
