After a series of delays, Cyberpunk 2077 has finally hit the markets. Playing as V, the dystopian open-world RPG requires you to soak in the eerie beauty of Night City while playing an enthralling campaign.
As breathtaking as every street of Night City sometimes is, you may not want to explore what it has to offer. Due to your mood or lack of time, you’d want to travel as fast as possible without wasting time. This is where Fast Travel comes into action.
Note: Fast Travel won’t be available until you commence Act 1.
1. How to Fast Travel in Cyberpunk 2077?
Just like The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077 will allow you to fast travel from one specific point to another. When in close proximity to one, a blue indicator will appear on the map.
Reach the point and interact with it. This will open the entire game’s map and give you access to jump to any of the unlocked travel points across Night City.
It should be kept in mind that you cannot fast travel from anywhere on the map. You will first have to reach one of the fast travel points physically. To get to it, you can look for one on the map and set a target for it. This way you can follow the waypoint and access one.
In-game, it will appear as a green projectile on your screen. Interact with it by pressing the interaction button and you can set foot on any location within mere seconds.
2. Unlocking Fast Travel points in Cyberpunk 2077
In order to unlock several fast travel points in Cyberpunk 2077, you will have to explore many districts of Night City. Whenever you’re nearby, the Fast Travel point will appear on your map.
As you embark on your journey and travel in different regions, you will unlock the fast travel point of that location. Given that you are in mid-range proximity to it.
3. About Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing video game developed by CD Projekt Red and published by CD Projekt, based on video game designer Mike Pondsmith’s game series.
Set in a dystopian cyberpunk universe, the player assumes the role of “V,” a mercenary in the fictional Californian city known as “Night City,” where they deal with the fallout from a heist gone wrong that results in an experimental cybernetic “bio-chip” containing an engram of the legendary rock star and terrorist Johnny Silverhand (played by Keanu Reeves) threatening to slowly overwrite V’s mind; as the story progresses V and Johnny must work together to find a way to be separated and save V’s life.
