Now that the Fast X trailer is only a week away, the Fast Saga is promising some nostalgic content in the upcoming movie by reminding us of the franchise’s roots. The Fast Saga’s YouTube account posted a short Legacy trailer highlighting Dom’s origins and his friendship with Paul Walker’s Brian.
The one-minute video encapsulates the critical moments of Dom Toretto’s life in the beginning, like his love story with Letty, his companionship with Brian, and his most memorable races. You can view the short legacy trailer below:
The story starts with Brian (Paul Walker), an undercover cop tasked with befriending Dom Toretto to uncover the illegal street racing. Now look where it is with outlandish heists and overrunning terrorist plots!
This nostalgic memoir of a video may hint at how the upcoming final films will return to the franchise’s beginning, emphasizing the cast’s family-like bond.
Quite a few familiar faces from the long-running franchise are set to return for Fast X and Fast and Furious 11. It will also feature the grandeur and reckless action scenes we’ve grown accustomed to in the more recent movies of the Fast Saga.
The cast and crew of Fast X are still keeping the plot of the upcoming film close to their chest. But once we have our hands on the trailer, which will release on February 10, 2023, we’ll have more insight into the film’s themes.
Do you think it is wise for Fast X to re-explore Dom’s origins and work the magic from the good old days of the Fast Saga?
