The official website for the anime adaptation of Kinosuke Naito‘sFarming Life in Another World(Isekai Nonbiri Nōka) light novel series released a promotional video for the anime on November 30.
The video reveals the cast, staff members, and the January 6 premiere date. The anime will premiere on the AT-X channel and it will also air on TV Tokyo and BS TV Tokyo.
The cast for the anime includes Atsushi Abe as Hiraku Machio, Shino Shimoji as Ru, Aya Suzaki as Tia, and Lynn as Ria.
The anime is being directed by Ryōichi Kurayaat Studio Zero-G. Touko Machida is slated to be series script supervisor, and Yoshiko Saitо̄ is the chief animation director and character designer. Yasuharu Takanashiand Johannes Nilsson are composing the music, with Pony Canyon producing.
The light novel series follows Hiraku. After he dies of a grave illness, God brings him back to life and sends him to a fantasy world of his choice. God even gives Hiraku the gift of farming in his second life. The story then explores Hiraku’s life in this new laidback world.
Naito first began serializing on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2016. Kadokawa began publishing the novels with illustrations by Yasumo in October 2017.
The novels received a manga adaptation by Yasuyuki Tsurugi in 2017 and Kadokawa published the ninth volume of the manga on April 8.
The novel series currently has 2 million copies in circulation.

Farming Life in Another World is an isekai manga by Kinosuke Naito. It was first launched in 2016 and will receive an anime in 2023.
The manga focuses on Kiraku, a middle-aged man who dies of overwork. A deity takes pity on him and transports him into another world with a younger and healthy body with additional powers.
Hiraku chooses to have a peaceful life farming and tending to his land. He eventually makes friends and even a tiny village on his farming journey.
