Episode 12 of the ‘Farewell, My Dear Cramer’ revolved more around Alice Adatara than any other character. We got an insight into her past. Adatara gained two points for her team.
First, when she managed to take the ball from Nozomi and passed it to Tenma, who then scored a goal. And second, when she took the ball being in the right-wing.
On realizing Urawa’s strengths, Naoko already accepted their loss. With ten minutes left for the match to end, the episode ended with a score of 2-0.
Will Warabis manage to surpass Urawa’s score? Let’s find out in the next episode.
We bring you the latest episode updates for this anime.
1. Episode 13 Preview & Speculation
At this point, it’s difficult to predict who is going to win the match. Urawa’s are two scores ahead of Warabis, but Warabis are very optimistic of winning.
It’s going to be tough to come back from the 2-0 score, and with one episode left, it makes more sense for them to lose. That’s how sports anime have always been. The protagonists do better than expected in their first year but can’t beat the local rivals.
We still have one more episode to go through, and if the girls are still fighting, we might see them winning the game. So next week’s going to be intense!

3. Episode 12 Recap
As Nozomi escapes Chika’s tackle and runs with the ball, Adatara comes in front of her, making Nozomi stop and allowing Adatara to pass the ball to Tenma. Ayumu and Suou try to block her, but she breaks through and scores a goal, making the score 1-0.
In the past, when Adatara was a child, she never made any friends because everyone was scared of her. She started playing basketball but didn’t like it. Adatara wanted to run more. Then, Tenma came into her life and introduced her to soccer, where she could run like crazy in the field.
In the present, Tenma looks at coach Gotoda as he nods. Soshizaki then takes the ball. However, before she could do anything, Tenma trips her down. Due to this, the referee gives Tenma a yellow card.
Goro realizes that Tenma intentionally took that yellow card so that Urawa could get time to counterattack. To everyone’s surprise, Tenma and Adatara switch their positions, making Urawa’s wing-backs stop.
Meanwhile, at the field, Warabis struggle to fill up the space between defenders and middle fielders. The Warabis boys comment that Tenma is like Liverpool’s Fermino and that she is making space for Adatara to move in those spaces, while Adatara is on the right-wing.
And just like that, Adatara scores another goal for Urawa. Naoko admits that Urawa is superior to Warabi when it comes to individual skills, tactics, and team’s maturity. At the field, Tase brings Nozomi back to her senses.
Adatara starts running with the ball. However, Saori blocks her, messing up Adatara’s chance to score a goal as the ball bounces off the net. Naoko tells Echizen that she has already accepted Warabi’s loss when Adatara scored her second goal.
With ten minutes being left, Warabi girls encourage each other to keep going on till the last minute. Shiratori yells and asks Soshizaki to pass her the ball, but Suou reminds her that she should stay in the front.
Soshizaki charges through the middle and passes the ball to Suou, who passes it to Shiratori. Shiratori’s headkicks the ball, but the ball bounces off the post.
