Developers Bethesda have been known for their in-game soundtracks since the days of Fallout 76. For the upcoming release of their first new IP in over 25 years, Starfield, Bethesda is working hard to give fans the most immersive experience.
As revealed by a Redditor, two songs from Starfield have been displayed in their entirety. The first song, “First Flight,” first appeared in Starfield Direct. The second song, “The Sol System,” is a new immersive experience for players not currently reviewing the game.
The Redditor admitted that, like any other Starfield fan, they were also looking for any scraps and pieces of Starfield-related news ahead of its release.
There are two weeks to go until release and nine days until embargo for Starfield lifts. This means that those who do not have access to the review codes have barely any idea what the game is like.
The authenticity of the two music tracks has also been verified since Bethesda copyrighted the video soon after it was shared on Reddit.
The Starfield community has widely lauded the two songs. However, some people are trying to refrain from listening to the music right now so as to experience it for the first time in-game.
The beauty of the soundtrack is not surprising, given that it was composed by Inon Zur, the man behind the soundtrack of Fallout 76 as well. A year ago, in an episode of “Into the Starfield,” he took a deep dive into Starfield’s music and sound design.
Inon mentioned how the central theme of Starfield sets the stage for the rest of the title and aims to complement the work of the developers with his work.
He likened Starfield’s vast possibilities and freedom to that of a blank canvas. Peter Hines also confirmed this, who replied to a tweet confirming that players can land on a planet and explore the whole world on foot.
This makes Starfield a game of truly galactic proportions, one that players will never get tired of. With the release imminent, we will get to lay our hands on the universe Bethesda has created in Starfield soon enough.
