The game was originally scheduled to launch in March 2020 on various platforms like Play Station 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, then was delayed to June and now July.
The gamers who pre-order the game will receive a special Miss Fairytail costume for Ezra. The deluxe edition of the digital version of the game will include a Great Magic Games team costume set, the Lacrima set, and the Ryza costume for Lucy.
A limited-edition is releasing in Japan called the “Fairy Tail Guild Box.” It will contain a poster (B2 size) of an image drawn by mangaka Hiro Mashima, creator of Fairy Tail. It also comes with an appendix book, three-character 3D cards, and a sticker set.
The list of playable characters includes Natsu, Lucy, Erza, Gray, Gajeel, Wendy, Sting, Kagura, Rorue, Laxus, Jellal, Mirajane, and Sherria. The game is being developed by Gust Studios and KOEI Tecmo Games under the supervision of Mashima.
