A senior manager at a life insurance company is forced to quit. As she tries to recover from the shock of what is happening, her husband reveals that the company is trying to get rid of all its female employees. Meanwhile, at Hanbada, Myeong Seok is paranoid about his safety, as a dangerous man from an old case is on the loose again.
Hanbada is hired by the life insurance company, which is being sued by two of its employees in a gender discrimination lawsuit. As they head to the hearing, they find the opposing lawyer, Ryu Jae Sook, holding a protest outside the court with two former employees of the firm.
The next day in court, Ryu Jae Sook brings up all the misogynistic statements Mr. Moon made to his female employees during his testimony. The case is established firmly in her favor after it becomes evident that the firm forced one of its female employees to testify.
Young Woo starts to feel conflicted about the case after Min Woo revealed that it was Hanbada that suggested that the life insurance company use the husbands as hostages to drive the female employees out of the company.
