Extraordinary Attorney Woo Episode 11 Recap
The episode starts in an underground gambling den, where three men celebrate winning the grand prize in the lottery. One of the men from the gambling den approaches Hanbada to take on his case after his friend fled with the prize money. Elsewhere, Young Woo excitedly awaits Jun Ho’s arrival at the office.
Myeong Seok asks Il Su if they had any kind of a written agreement regarding splitting the prize. He then explains that it would be hard to prove the existence of their promise to split the money. Additionally, his claim might also lose credibility as the event took place in an illegal gambling den.
The next day, Young Woo visits the gambling den with Il Su and they speak to a witness. While the witness confirms Il Su’s claims, it is evident that he feels hesitant about testifying in court. Il Su tries his best to persuade the witness within legal bounds.
In court, Myeong Seok tries to appeal Il Su’s case by citing that even a verbal agreement can be considered legally binding. They come across a roadblock when the witness doesn’t show up in court. Jun Ho reveals that he’s an undocumented Korean Chinese immigrant and is afraid of being deported.
