Extraction 2: Sequel to Netflix Action Flick Announced

According to variety, Joe Russo, who produced Extraction along with his brother, Anthony, has been tapped for the sequel as a writer.

News about Hemsworth coming back hasn’t been confirmed; the creators won’t be confirming the cast until there is a script in place.

Hemsworth might have time in between his upcoming Thor movie and his other projects for this sequel.

Extraction released on Netflix on April 24 and was a massive hit. It is in line pace to be the biggest Netflix original movie yet. The film recounts the tale of Tyler Rake (Hemsworth), a soldier of fortune, who is sent into Dhaka to safeguard the child of a criminal overlord.
