Evil Season 3 Episode 4 Recap
The episode begins with Sister Andrea being summoned by Church representatives for a meeting to discuss her retirement. They claim that forcing her to retire was an administrative decision to protect the Church. Sister Andrea contests the decision by asking to be judged by a three-person priestly council.
A woman approaches David in the confession box regarding a potentially supernatural experience her husband went through. Kristen and Ben later joined David in the investigation. The woman explains that her husband is a long-haul truck driver and had a strange experience on highway 13A. Kristen suspects that his physical state was caused by the “third-man syndrome.”
As the three of them drive down the same highway, the car’s radio glitches and starts to play a strange audio recording that has a woman screaming and a man delivering a sermon about the devil. With his sister’s help, Ben is able to trace the root of the signal and it leads them to a man who had been using a drone to mess up radio frequencies in order to scare exhausted truckers driving through the area.
