Assassin’s Creed Shadows DLC
The Assassin’s Creed Shadows DLC is titled Claws of Awaji.
It is set in the distinctive island of Awaji, beyond the Osaka Bay. In Claws of Awaji, we follow Naoe’s journey. Your mission is to bring back a forgotten treasure without being hunted by a dangerous faction.
Claws of Awaji introduces a new weapon called Bō. You can sharpen Naoe’s skills and become the master of the Bō.
Claws of Awaji promises exciting action and over 10 hours of new content. There’s a completely new open world for you to explore. The expansion is designed by the developers over at Ubisoft Bordeaux, the creators of Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows DLC Release Date
Assassin’s Creed Shadows Claws of Awaji does not have a specific release date yet. As players already know, it was not available at launch.
According to Ubisoft, Claws of Awaji is slated for release sometime later in 2025.
You can expect more details in the latter half of the year.
How to get Assassin’s Creed Shadows DLC?
If you pre-ordered any edition of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you will receive Claws of Awaji free of cost when it becomes available.
If not, you can purchase the expansion as you normally would.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed by Ubisoft Quebec and published by Ubisoft, set to release in November 15, 2024. The game is the fourteenth major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and the successor to 2023’s Assassin’s Creed Mirage, as well as the first title to be included in the Assassin’s Creed: Infinity platform.
Set in 16th-century Japan towards the end of the Sengoku period, the game will focus on the millennia-old struggle of the Assassin Brotherhood, who fight for peace and liberty, and the Templar Order, who desire peace through control, from the perspective of two protagonists: Naoe, a female shinobi, and Yasuke, an African samurai inspired by the historical figure of the same name.
