2. About Mario Kart 8

Mario Kart 8 is a kart racing game developed and published by Nintendo and is the latest in the Mario Kart Franchise.

Apart from retaining the majority of the series’ mechanics, where characters from the Super Mario franchise race against each other while collecting a variety of items to hinder opponents or gain advantages in the race, the game also introduces anti-gravity driving on walls or ceiling and players can also bump each another for a short boost.

Mario Kart 8 was released in 2014 for the Wii U, with an enhanced version, titled Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, releasing for the Nintendo Switch in 2018.
