Jack Ryan Season 4: Release Date, Plot, Cast, and More

Prime Video finally premiered Season 3 of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan in December 2022 after a three-year-long gap, and boy, have they upped the stakes. John Krasinski’s Jack Ryan is on the run, with a red notice on his name and the CIA tracking him on an international hunt. We can only wonder what Season 4 may have in store for the hero!

Since its debut on Prime Video in August 2018, the series has garnered successful reviews and ratings, and Prime renewed it for two more seasons. We even have news that the show is renewed for Season 4, but every good news has a flip side—Season 4 of Jack Ryan will be his last adventure.

Season 3 threatened World War 3, so rest assured the showrunners have something bigger planned for Jack Ryan’s last foray into the wild. But when will we get Season 4?

The show usually followed a pattern of annual releases for each season. But with the production of Season 3 halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the latest season took three years to land on the streaming platform. Since conditions are better now, we expect the old pattern to be back and thus assume that the last season will premiere in 2023.

The writers and producers are also aiming for 2023, and with Krasinski in both rooms, we can expect filming to begin in the first quarter of 2023, putting the estimated release date in late 2023. The show hasn’t announced an official release date for Season 4 yet, but we do know a few details about the final season!

The main plot for Season 4 remains a mystery, but the ending of Season 3 has left a few breadcrumbs for the characters to follow in the upcoming season. We’ll have John Krasinski’s Jack Ryan, Michael Kelly’s Mike November, and Wendell Pierce’s James Greer coming back.

Noomi Rapace’s Season 2 spy Harry Bauman is also slated to return, as well as Ryan’s to-be-wife Cathy Mueller (Abbie Cornish), who we last saw in Season 1. And while Jack Ryan is wrapping up Season 4’s events, Tom Clancy’s other famous character, Domingo “Ding” Chavez, will be returning in his own spinoff, which is currently in development.

So, there you have it! Now, what are you waiting for? Catch up with Jack Ryan’s latest adventure on Prime Video!
