Euphoria Season 2 Episode 7 Speculation
After a heartwarming moment with Fez, Lexi decides to let go of her inhibitions and put on the play anyway. After years of having existed in the background, this will be the first time she will have her moment to shine. However, it’s clear that tensions are high between the group, especially after the truth about Cassie and Nate has come out. How will her play be received by the rest of the group once they realize it’s about them?
Maddy was full of rage and considering retaliating in some way as was clear from her conversation with Kat. However, Nate forcing her to give back the disc to him at gunpoint will possibly leave her far too traumatized to take any immediate action against him. Did Maddy have other copies of the tape? Will she tell anyone about what Nate did to her?
Trouble is brewing for Fez as it’s been revealed that the police are narrowing down at him and Ashtray for Mouse’s murder. Custer tells Faye he’s cooperating with the police and might come around to talk about what happened to get them to confess. Will Faye give Fez a heads up? Will Fez be able to make it to Lexi’s play? Euphoria Season 2 Episode 6 Recap
Rue grapples with the physical and mental toll of going into withdrawal. The guilt of her actions and words starts to weigh heavily on her, particularly the way she treated Ali, who was the only person who truly understood what she was currently going through. She calls him and apologizes. Ali forgives her and comes over to cook dinner for the Bennetts.
Ethan is heartbroken at Kat’s dishonesty and the two break up. Cassie has several outbursts now that the truth about her sleeping with Nate had come out. Lexi starts to have second thoughts about putting on her play and shares them with Fez. The two bond over their love for the movie “Stand By Me” and Fez reassures her that he loves the idea behind her play and she should still go through with it.
With Cal out of the picture, Nate goes through his study and finds his gun. Maddy returns home from her babysitting job to find Nate waiting for her. He assaults Maddy and uses the gun to get her to give him the disc. With the disc and the gun in his possession, he drives to Jules’ house and gives it to her after telling her the truth about what his father did.
Nate finally returns Cassie’s calls and asks her to pack a suitcase and to come and stay with him at her house.
