Euphoria Season 2 Episode 4 Speculation
Cal continues to linger outside Fez’s house. Ashtray spots him and demands to know his intentions and brutally beats him during the interrogation with the back of his gun. The situation becomes awkward when Cal blurts out everything assuming Fez knew about the tape and Jules because of what Nate said to him. Now that he knows Nate lied, he’s bound to double down on his aggression in an attempt to get the truth about the location of the tape.
Rue has secured a long-term supply of ‘free drugs’ for herself, but she’s very likely headed towards an even more dangerous situation if she’s unable to pay the supplier her dues. Will she turn to Fez for help? Will her mother find out about her relapse?
Nate decides to ditch Cassie one night and goes to see Maddie at her babysitting gig with a bouquet of flowers. This is likely Nate’s attempt to get the tape back before his father finds out the truth. The two will have a conversation about their relationship and everything that went wrong. Euphoria Season 2 Episode 3 Recap
The episode begins with a flashback to when Cal was in high school. While he was a popular athlete and even had a girlfriend, he had feelings for his guy best friend. The two of them decide to act on their feelings and share a kiss the night before Cal’s girlfriend tells him she’s pregnant.
In the present, Cassie is spending hours getting ready before school in an attempt to get Nate to notice her. He acts like he doesn’t notice her while they’re in school but the two continue to secretly hook up every Friday. Lexi decides to throw herself into writing a play and starts to hold auditions.
Jules, Elliot and Rue start to spend a lot of time together. Elliot admits to having a crush on Rue but he also tells Jules all the ways that she’s attractive and appealing. Rue proposes becoming a dealer for the drug supplier and goes to her NA meeting with a suitcase full of ten thousand dollars worth of drugs. Ali confronts her about the suitcase and she lashes out at him.
