Other than energetic songs, idol groups are also identified by their young and hardworking members. So, an idol group made up of middle-aged members in the ‘Eternal Boys’ anime is a refreshing idea.
What could possibly push these men into the idol business? Well, art may have no age restrictions, but a back-breaking training schedule does.
The original anime, Eternal Boys, will premiere on October 10, 2022. The anime will also receive an early screening on September 26, 2022. It will reportedly consist of 24 episodes, 15 minutes each.
The latest trailer introduces each of the six members and their reaction to debuting as an idol group:
All six members are from different walks of life. They have been tossed and turned by society and gone through many successes and setbacks, and finally decided to give the idol life a try.
You can see some of them getting cold sweats and the others just anticipating stardom. A lot of funny backstage moments have also been scattered in the video.
Even the latest visual is out, and everyone can be seen wearing their idol costumes:
Idols are normally trained from a young age, and their heavy schedule isn’t something an older person can handle. So can old dogs learn new tricks? The ‘Eternal Boys’ anime will challenge the members’ age and body condition.
The idol industry is also rough towards newbies, so criticism will flood in regarding their ages. Can the men handle the tough life of an idol while complaining about their aching backs?
