Attack on Titan’s iconic streak of no delays was recently broken due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After a two-month-long hiatus, Chapter 129 was released in June. The chapter ended in the tearful demise of Pieck and Gabi.
Chapter 130 of Attack on Titan will bring the threat level up a notch. After a flashback revolving around Eren and Historia, we see Eren’s Rumbling destroying a Marleyan city with Eren’s Titan in the back.
The chapter starts with Annie quitting the alliance after Hange tells her about Liberio. Annie says she has no reason to fight anymore. She doesn’t want any more bloodshed with Mikasa, 104th, and Eren.
Historia thanked Eren for protecting her. Eren tells her his plan and Historia is against it. Eren says it’s the only way and he will not allow Historia and her children to be sacrificed for the island.
Historia says she won’t be able to live her life with pride if she doesn’t stop Eren. Eren says he’ll just control her memories with the founding Titan. He wants her to stay quiet. She says she can’t.
Eren tells Historia she can. Because “you are the worst girl in the world who saved me”. Historia tells him,” Then Eren. How about I make a child?” The conversation ends here.
We see Eren’s Titan, which is really big with lots of bones and a hideous form. Eren talked with Zeke about Ackerman’s will and headaches. Zeke says it’s not the Ackerman instinct that makes Mikasa protect him. It’s love.
Zeke: How will you answer her? (Mikasa)
Eren: What are you saying, brother. I only have four years left. After I die, their lives will continue. I want them to live happily forever.
Next, we see that Colossal titans are swimming. The last page is a double spread of the Rumbling destroying a city with Marleyan soldiers, and we see Eren’s Titan behind them.
Eren’s dreaded Rumbling has been making its way slowly across the map. Now that it has finally reached the eye of the storm, big things are about to go down. What do you think about Attack on Titan’s end? Let us know in the comments below.
