Entergram began streaming the opening film for its upcoming KONOSUBA Dungeon Crawler game on its YouTube Channel on Friday.
The opening video kicks off to the tune of Machico’s “Stand Up” theme song teasing fans with the game’s story and visuals featuring the gang heading towards trouble.
It has some new things to show and brings fans familiar visuals, “Aqua getting swallowed by Giant toads.”
This unique tale of our not so perfect adventurer’s gang has fans thrilled with the new monsters added to the lore.
KONOSUBA: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Labyrinth of Hope and the Gathering of Adventurers! Plus is slated to release in Japan on August 27 with brand new features on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
It is an upgraded version of the original Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! ~Kibō no Meikyū Tsudoi Shi Bōkensha-Tachi, with new monsters, new dungeons, and many more features.
The developers are also hosting a transfer campaign allowing players with the original game to buy this version at a 30% discount.
The plot of the game picks up after the uproar of Arcanletia when Aqua unknowingly picks up a glass shard. The group takes it to Wiz’s shop to find that it is a shard of the demon stone that holds immense magical powers and costs 10 million Eris.
Kazuma and his friends must now embark on an adventure to complete the stone and unravel its secrets.
