Engage Kiss is an upcoming original anime by studio A-1 Pictures. The scalding hot anime will debut this summer with an almost harem-like setting.
Shū is the clumsy protagonist of the series whose life is so unbalanced that every woman around him pities him. No, don’t go feeling bad for him because he gets enough help from Kisara and his ex-girlfriend.
Shū and his rom-com life will come to us as the Engage Kiss anime on July 3, 2022. It is a part of the Project Engage franchise, which will also receive a smartphone game called Engage Kill soon.
The latest trailer of the series will show you the bizarre life of Shū with Kisara:
Kisara lives with Shū and helps him with his personal and work life, but why does such a cute girl care for him? Turn out, Kisara is actually a devil who Shū has made a contract with.
Shū is a freelancer who battles devils, but business is not going well since he has just left a big company. Due to his contract with Kisara, she kills off all the devils for him. The price? An all-encompassing kiss.
“Dare-Kare Scramble.” the anime’s opening theme song by halca is also previewed in the trailer.
The first visual of the series is also out, and it teases a new character, Sharon Holygrail. She is an agent of the world’s largest exorcism group.

Being an original anime, Engage Kiss will have a lot of exciting twists and turns to offer. I am looking forward to how the creators will mix rom-com with sci-fi as not only will Shu face multiple romantic interests but also an organization that fights devils.

The anime is set in Baylong City, an artificial island, which gets exploited due to its special resources and also gets attacked by devils. Shu has just left his last job and started a freelancer but his life is a mess.
Kisara helps him with everything and his ex-girlfriend, Ayano also pities him. Thus starts a romantic comedy between Shu and the two girls.
