The protagonists, Aoto Endo and Shihono Kobayashi begin playing an otome game and realize they can communicate with the characters. Due to the geeking out over the ill-fated and misunderstood villainess, Liselotte, the game’s male lead Prince Siegward falls in love with her.
Considering this as a divine revelation from God, Siegward begins pursuing Liselotte, who has secretly been in love with him, changing the game’s fate.
