Encouragement of Climb: Next Summit Ep7, Release date, Watch Online

In episode 6 of Encouragement of Climb: Next Summit, Hikaru asks Aoi to take a little trip with her via bus. They go to Naguri Lake and even try riding the canoes. Aoi also enjoys the time with Hikari.

It is later revealed that Hikari was dumped the other day, so she asked Aoi out for this trip. Aoi invites Honoka and others to a Christmas Eve party at Hinata’s house. While preparing for the party, Aoi gets an urgent call from Hikari to help for two hours at the shop as their boss injured his back again.

It was a new experience for Aoi to go for an outing apart from climbing mountains. She got to know a few things about an adult person’s life. She might get a chance to experience much more things in the future.

With each experience, she will get stronger and learn new things. It will help her build up new relationships and open up. I hope she will finally be able to reach the summit of Mt. Fuji in the upcoming episodes.

Recap of Episode 6

Aoi’s boss calls Aoi to inform her that the shop will be closed the next day as he injured his back. As Aoi is thinking of spending time with Hinata, Hikari asks her to go for an outing via bus. The next day they meet as planned.

Hikari takes Aoi to Naguri Lake. On their way, they see a place where canoes are made with Nishikawa lumber.

Hikari suggests riding the canoes. However, Aoi is hesitant at first but agrees later. They get instructed on how to ride the canoe. Hikari wants to be seated on opposite seats like a couple with Aoi.

After riding for some time, they take a break, and Aoi enjoys the breeze. Hikari had prepared a bento for them. When Aoi opens the bento to eat, everything is heart-shaped, which surprises Aoi. 

As they watch the sunset after boating, Hikari opens a can of alcohol and offers Aoi, but since Aoi is underage, she does not drink. Hikari gulps down the can of alcohol. Hikari tells Aoi that she got dumped the previous day, maybe because she didn’t try hard enough. Aoi consoles her, saying she may find someone better. Hikari thanked Aoi for accompanying her.

While returning, Aoi gets a call from Hinata asking how her little date was. Aoi refuses to tell her as it might be too complicated for Hinata to hear. Aoi got a glimpse of how adult life is.

Aoi invites Honoka to a party at Hinata’s house on Christmas Eve. As Hinata and Aoi are about to prepare for the party, Hikari calls Aoi to tell her that their boss’ back is injured again, and she has to come to the shop for two hours. Hinata tells her to go as she will do the preparations.

Kaede, Kokona, Yuuka, Koharu, and Honoka arrive at Hinata’s house for the party and help Hinata prepare while waiting for Aoi.

As Aoi is freezing while working in a Santa outfit, Hikari expresses her gratitude for helping and gives her a cake to take back home. Aoi finally gets back home and celebrates Christmas with the girls.
