Elden Ring’s Recent Patch Buffs Radahn again after Unintentional Nerf

With the arrival of the colossal Patch 1.03, the attacks of the over-powered demigod, Starscourge Radahn, were significantly weakened. Therefore, if you were taking on this notorious foe between March 17 to April 4, chances were he was not in the pink of health due to a mysterious bug that nerfed him.

Given that Radahn is an enemy that never lets carelessness go unpunished, one wrong move and gamers were bombarded with devastating arrows, multi-hit combos, and a bunch of gravity energy attacks.

But because of Patch 1.03, the damage from his melee and other attacks was reduced, much to the disappointment of Elden Ring players.

Turns out, the fans of this genre like getting torn apart, and the nerf was taking away the feeling of pure satisfaction gamers get when someone mightier than anyone under the sun is vanquished in front of them.

But not to worry, FromSoftware has now fixed this honest mistake, and the burly enemy is back to crushing players through destructive attacks.

Thanks to Patch 1.03.3, the Starscourge Radahn boss in Elden Ring, who was unintentionally made weaker by one of the previous update, is buffed again.

The patch was rolled out on April 4 and comes to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam.

The only thing the patch note reads,

Fixed a bug in the balance adjustment of the boss ‘Starscourge Radahn’ in update 1.03, in which the power of some attacks was unintentionally reduced.

With the boss back to his full strength and fighting just as intended, the majority of Elden Ring’s Reddit community is ecstatic, with Naldo273 saying:

On my second playthrough, he was a complete joke. You could actually just ride around watching the NPCs melt him. I don’t know what people were thinking defending that nerf. God forbid one of the most epic boss fights in From history doesn’t keel over on your first attempt.

Given that killing Radahn in Elden Ring provides you with Great Runes, your battle for acquiring these passive ability-boosting items to succeed in the Lands Between will take blood, sweat, and tears now.
