Edens Zero Episode 8: Release Date, Speculation, And Watch Online

Edens Zero episode 7, titled “Warship of the Demon King,” has been released this week.

Last, we saw the pirate Elsie had captured Shiki and his friends into her warship. Shiki decides to claim the ship for himself by defeating Elsie. 

In Episode 7, Shiki gets to know Elsie and his grandpa, the Demon King are connected. He also receives ownership of the Demon King’s warship,

1. Episode 8 Speculations and Discussions

The title of episode 8, “Wind Howls on the Highway,” is revealed at the end of episode 7. 

With reference to episode 7, Shiki is now aware that his grandpa, the Demon King, had the same ambition as him. That is to meet Mother.

We will see Shiki carry on the Demon King’s ambition and see it to its end with the help of his friends. This will be Shiki’s way of surpassing his late grandpa.

2. Episode 8 Release Date

Episode 8 of the Edens Zero anime, titled “Wind Howls on the Highway”, has been released on Sunday, May 30, 2021.

No, Edens Zero is not on break this week. Episode 8 is set to air as scheduled. No delay has been announced.

3. Recap of Episode 7

Episode 7, titled “Warship of the Demon King,” starts off with Shiki and Elsie fighting over the ownership of the warship. 

Shiki has a tough time battling Elsie. Elsie’s monstrous strength is getting a bit too much for him to handle. 

However, after Elsie tauntingly reveals Ziggy’s failed dream of finding Mother, Shiki is filled with excitement. He realizes that his grandpa also had the same dream as him.

Shiki is able to push past his limits and is able to embody a more potent form, and is able to defeat Elsie. 

However, ‘Elsie’ then changes into a slimy alien creature, revealing her as a parasite mimicking Elsie and her comrades’ forms.

The real Elsie is on a warship near them. She congratulates Shiki and gives him the ship as promised. She even mentioned how the Demon King entrusted her to hand him this ship.

Soon after that, they are all forced to engage in a space battle with the Interstellar Union Army. Elsie offers to protect Shiki and his friends this one time and lets them escape.

Weisz unknowingly activates the ship’s warp drive and sends them near Blue Garden. Now, since the ship is under their command, they decide to clean up the whole warship.

In that process, Rebecca discovers a big bath that gives her powers similar to Ether Gear, but she cannot control it.

The episode ends with Shiki activating an android built by his grandpa called Witch Regret. It is the admin of the ship and is now under the command of Shiki. 

After receiving an order from Shiki, it reverts the ship to its true form, the warship Edens Zero.
