Edens Zero Episode 24: Release Date, Speculation, and Watch Online

Edens Zero episode 23, titled “Until the Day it Turns to Strength,” was released this week.

Last, we learned the sad truth about Valkyrie’s past. Not just that, we also got to see how Valkyrie was a mother figure for Homura after her biological mother abandoned her.  

Madame Kurenai even decided to decimate the labor district as there were rebels among the people. Shiki had about enough of Madame Kurenai’s tyranny. He decided to take things into his own hands and confronted Madame Kurenai.

Episode 24 Speculations and Discussions

The title of episode 24, “Taking Up the Torch,” is revealed at the end of episode 23.

As we have already seen, Shiki is enraged. There is nothing that is going to stop him now. 

We will get to see Shiki break through his own limits and see to it that Madame Kurenai is brought down. Especially because Homura is his important friend and he cannot see her sad.

Nonetheless, I’m sure Homura will join in the fight. She will make her peace with Valkyrie and speak her mind. Then she will be set to avenge her mentor by defeating Madame Kurenai.

Episode 24 of the Edens Zero anime, titled “Taking Up the Torch”, has been released on Sunday, Sep 26, 2021.

No, Edens Zero is not on break this week. Episode 24 is set to air as scheduled, without any delay. 

Recap of Episode 23

Episode 23, titled “Until the Day it Turns to Strength,” starts with Shiki confronting Madame Kurenai and the Zaiten Three. 

He single handedly overpowers the Zaiten Three with his powers. They are able to sneak attacks on him, but it is of no use. He comes back from each and every one of the attacks.

Shiki knocks them down and proceeds to attack Madame Kurenai, who is surprisingly holding her own against Shiki. 

She tells her subordinate to proceed with the mission of destroying the labor district. She thinks everything is going according to her plan, but her subordinate tells her that their systems have been hacked.

Madame Kurenai realizes that Drakken Joe is behind this development. She tells her researchers to release the Kurenai Dragoon to defeat Shiki and then proceed to take revenge on Drakken Joe.

The Kurenai Dragoon is able to overpower Shiki. Currently, Shiki is only capable of evading its attacks. 

Meanwhile, Drakken Joe has control over Madame Kurenai’s systems. He decides to locate the Edens Zero and capture it by force. 

Rebecca goes to Homura and tells her that Shiki has gone to fight with Madame Kurenai for her sake. Then she tells her to speak her mind to Valkyrie’s remains, as her feelings will definitely reach her.

Madame Kurenai orders the Zaiten Three to annihilate the labor district. Rebecca is able to hold her own against most of the enemies since they are weak to Ether gear. 

Then, Baku of the Zaiten three ambushes her and overpowers her. As he is about to finish her off, Weisz arrives in his newly modified suit and protects Rebecca.

The episode ends with Weisz demonstrating his abilities to their maximum current potential and defeating Baku.
