Edens Zero Episode 18: Release Date, Speculation, And Watch Online

Edens Zero episode 17, titled “The Temple of Knowledge,” was released this week.

Last, we saw Jamilov hacked into the Edens Zero and sabotaged the ship from the internal system. Hermit’s horrific past was revealed. After a lot of convincing, Hermit agreed to join the team and saved the Edens Zero.

In episode 17, the group took it a little easy and fooled around with their wardrobe. Drakken Joe killed Spider for tarnishing his name. Shiki and the others head to the Planet Mildian to consult the Legendary Fortune-teller.

Episode 18 Speculations and Discussions

The title of episode 18, “Words Will Give You Strength,” is revealed at the end of episode 17.

It has been made clear that Xiaomei helps everyone, but she wants to be entertained as compensation. That is the very reason she sent Shiki and his friends to the colosseum.

I’m sure everyone will have to face opponents equal to their caliber and defeat them one way or another. 

Since Xiaomei already knows everything about the entire cosmos, she already knows that it will end with their victory, and she will reward them with the information they want.

However, it would really be cool if, by some chance, Shiki or one of them could catch her off guard, which would keep her mind open to possibilities outside her capabilities.       

Episode 18 Release Date

Episode 18 of the Edens Zero anime, titled “Words Will Give You Strength”, has been released on Sunday, Aug 08, 2021.

No, Edens Zero is not on break this week. Episode 18 is set to air as scheduled. No delay has been announced.

Recap of Episode 17

Episode 17, titled “The Temple of Knowledge,” starts with Sister and Witch welcoming Hermit back into Edens Zero with some friendly banter. 

While Rebecca and Homura were taking a dip in hot water, Shiki and Weisz got to try out their favorite food. 

Shiki is made aware that Pino does not have a sense of taste and feels terrible for her. He asks Weisz to alter that for her. However, Pino denies the favor saying that she knows she will eventually have a sense of taste as her dream is to be a human one day.

Shiki boosts her morale by saying she can be a human. On the other hand, Weisz kept it to himself that a bot can’t turn into a human unless the myth about Mother is true.

Spider looks for Drakken Joe to fight back against the Edens Zero team, yet Drakken, not perceiving Spider, has him executed for being useless and tarnishing his name. 

Drakken Joe then considers checking out Edens Zero as a method for reestablishing his wealth that was because of Planet Guilst’s annihilation. 

Drakken contacts Noah Glenfield, the guild master of Shooting Starlight, for data on the warship. 

Meanwhile, dubious of Noah for his association with the occasions on Planet Guilst, the team chooses to counsel the legendary fortune teller Xiaomei in the Planet Mildian to know Valkyrie’s whereabouts. 

The group spends the journey selecting outfits in the warship’s dress factory as Homura anyway had to abide by Weisz’s wish and wear a maid outfit as compensation for letting her join the Edens Zero.

The episode ends with the group meeting Xiaomei the oracle of time, who is ready to provide them with the information they want. However, she sends Shiki and his friends to a fighting colosseum inside her sanctuary.
