Edens Zero Episode 15: Release Date, Speculation, And Watch Online

Edens Zero episode 14, titled “The Girl on the Hill,” was released this week.

Last we saw, Shiki and his friends realized that Hermit is in a catatonic state caused by psychological trauma. Witch determined that Hermit’s mind is currently secluded within the planet Digitalis, which a physical body cannot access. 

Shiki and the group transported their consciousness to planet Digitalis to retrieve Hermit. Shiki fought Jamilov after he realized that he killed NPCs and Humans without any remorse. Later, Homura allied with Jamilov, shocking everyone.

1. Episode 15 Speculations and Discussions

The title of episode 15, “Great Kaiju Shiki,” is revealed at the end of episode 14.

I cannot wait to see how the story unravels. The episode ended with two Homuras facing off against each other. 

I just hope the real Homura did not betray Shiki because it would be so sad to see that after all this time. Hopefully the real Homura defeats the fake Homura.

I’m also sure Jamilov will do something to push Shiki to the edge, which will make him go berserk. He will then go on a rampage and beat Jamilov to a pulp. However, this will make him Drakken Joe’s enemy.

Episode 15 of the Edens Zero anime, titled “Great Kaiju Shiki”, has been released on Sunday, Jul 18, 2021.

No, Edens Zero is not on break this week. Episode 15 is set to air as scheduled. No delay has been announced.

3. Recap of Episode 14

Episode 14, titled “The Girl on the Hill,” starts off with Shiki trying to rescue the NPCs and humans Jamilov slaughtered. 

An enraged Shiki takes off and attacks Jamilov. Jamilov shows how overpowered he is when Shiki attacks him to avenge the casualties.

However, Jamilov does not entertain Shiki for long. Instead, he logs out to go to a gathering with Drakken. 

Shiki’s group arrives at the hill where Hermit spends her time. They have a go at convincing her to rejoin the team, yet she repels them out of her hate for humans. 

Shiki keeps trying but to no avail. While getting back to the city, the group sees an impending attack of monsters instructed by Jamilov to kill the NPCs. 

While Shiki rescues Hermit, who was ready to die from the incoming beasts, his partners are helped by the Event Boss in protecting the city. 

On the other hand, while everyone is battling, Homura is apparently in the process of betraying the Edens Zero crew to get on Jamilov’s good books as she plans on joining Drakken’s crew. 

Homura then reveals herself and transparently deceives the group by attacking Shiki after he gets back with Hermit. Everyone is shocked by her betrayal and does not know how to react.

The episode ends with a second Homura with a different Avatar showing up and saving Shiki from being killed.
