Edens Zero Episode 13: Release Date, Speculation, And Watch Online

Edens Zero episode 12, titled “New Friends,” was released this week.

Shiki battled Jinn, Sister, and Ganoff together, and even then, he defeated them. Finally, the real Sister Ivry appeared and proved the other one to be an impostor. She then used her powers to heal the petrified girls.

In episode 12, Shiki and his group nearly escaped the Chronophage that hit Planet Guilst. Sister and Witch called Homura out for being Valkyrie’s pupil.

Just as they were discussing the whereabouts of the remaining two Shining Stars, they see Hermit.

1. Episode 13 Speculations and Discussions

The title of episode 13, “The Super Virtual Planet,” is revealed at the end of episode 12. 

Now that half the Four Shining Stars of the Edens Zero has been restored, Shiki just has to search for Valkyrie and Hermit. 

From the end of episode 12, Hermit’s location has been revealed, and they are approaching her. However, I think that something is fishy as this seems to work out very conveniently for them. 

Since Shiki struggled to find Sister, he will obviously have to face some trouble finding the remaining two. 

I think that after approaching Hermit, they’ll realize that she has got herself in some trouble because of which she cannot return to Edens Zero. Just, as usual, we will see Shiki go out of his way to help his friends.

Episode 13 of the Edens Zero anime, titled “The Super Virtual Planet”, has been released on Sunday, Jul 04, 2021.

No, Edens Zero is not on break this week. Episode 13 is set to air as scheduled. No delay has been announced.

3. Recap of Episode 12

Episode 12, titled “New Friends,” starts off with Planet Guilst being in complete chaos after hearing the news of the Chronophage heading their way. 

The Chronophage’s presence causes Guilst’s giant tree, Mechdrasil, to overgrow and uproot itself, causing a lot of damage. In addition, Edens Zero is unable to land on Planet Guilst because of this new development.  

Rebecca almost falls into a pit but is saved by Shiki in time. Then they meet up with Weisz, Sister, and Homura, who cuts down the trees making space for the Edens Zero to land. 

However, the space is too small even then. Shiki then utilizes his gravity ether to take his group directly onto the Warship. They escape Planet Guilst in time before the Chronophage could hit them. 

It is revealed that the Chronophage went through 1,200 years of Guilst’s time, killing untold numbers while reverting the planet to a peaceful place. 

Among the individuals who escaped is Drakken Joe, who is the reason why Guilst turned into a planet for criminals. 

During the group’s conversation about the whereabouts of the remaining Shining Stars, Homura reveals herself to be the student of the Shining Star, Valkyrie Yuna. She has been looking for Valkyrie since she vanished five years back. 

The team accepts Homura and Weisz as part of their team, same as a fixed Mosco, whom Sister clarifies is under her command. 

As Homura gets familiar with the Warship, Rebecca discovers that the other B-Cubers whom she rescued have promoted her channel out of appreciation, pleasing her despite the subsequent flood of negative reactions. 

The episode ends with the group going to the landmark Iron Hill circling Blue Garden, where they quickly find one more of the Four Shining Stars, Hermit Mio.
