Flyting is not something that Assassin’s Creed installed in their game but an actual historic event. After all, Vikings should have something fun to do other than brutally raiding places, right?
Ove the Scarred Flyting Duel: Correct responses
Beating Ove the Scarred will allow you to earn money and increase your Charisma stat. He can be found in the small village of Quatford in Sciropescire . If you wish to start the flyt battle, you will have to interact with him and place a bet.
Answers to defeat Ove the Scarred in flyting duel:
Statement 1: “I am feared by all men, be they Northern or Saxon.
Answer: 3. And your thick little skull’s fit for grinding my axe on.
Statement 2: “O, you think you can scare me? I am toughter than you!”

Answer: 2. If it’s fighting you want, I shall take you on now.
Note: After you’re done with the flyt challenge, you will have to fist fight Ove the Scarred. It will be an easy fight; Two hits and game over!
Is Flyting Duel with Ove the Scarred necessary to the story or is it a side quest?
To be precise, Flyting Duels are mysteries. Mysteries are basically Valhalla’s way of presenting you with side quests. Therefore, your rap battle with Ove the Scarred is not mandatory to the story. However, it does help you gain Charisma which makes the game easier.
Ove the Scarred’s Location:
You can find Ove the Scarred in the small village of Quatford in Sciropescire. He stands outside the entrance to the South Eastern part of the location. After approaching him, you can start the flyting duel.
