In your quest for Tyr, you will have to solve the Applecore water puzzles.
As you search the mines for Tyr, you will come across a wide opening where a claw is hung underwater. Above are a number of waterwheels and troughs.
Throw your ax into the trough directly above the water wheel, which is the first thing you must do. You can hop across once the claw is raised as a result. Freeze the trough up and to the left from here, with your back facing the elevator. The elevator will plummet as a result. Get on board and head up after pulling out your ax.
Atreus will be on a switch this time when you’re across from him, throwing your ax into a series of water troughs in a puzzle further inside the Applecore.
The trough in front of the waterwheel and adjacent to it on your left must be frozen first. Next, have Atreus operate the lever. When you recall your ax, a sequence of ore deposits will be sent up to your ice block and remain there, allowing you to aim for another trough without losing that waterwheel.
Now, level the trough on the right and place the waterwheel there as well. As a result, you will be able to raise the claw in front of you and grapple across. Get Atreus to shoot sonic arrows at the stones you used to dam up the original trough once you are here. The platform will move, and as a result, you will be able to find Atreus.
