How to upgrade your weapons using Mastery Points in Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2?

To upgrade a weapon in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, you need a unique currency called Mastery Points. Unlike other games, this currency is not so easy to obtain. You need to invest hours to earn Mastery Points and finally use it to spice up your weapons. How to get Mastery Points?

Max out XP for weapons

The more frequently you use a certain weapon, the more XP it gains. You will earn a Mastery Point for every weapon that is maxed out. 

Stick to one weapon until you reach maximum experience points. Instead of playing in Eternal War mode, switch to Operations to quickly level up.

You need to upgrade weapon variants and upgrades to their maximum levels to earn more Mastery Points. Once every criteria has been fulfilled, the weapon description will read ‘fully mastered’.

Use Armory Data

If you want to save time playing endless matches, you can use Armory Data to instantly level up a weapon. This way, you can earn a Mastery Point without spending hours in combat.

Armory Data is another type of currency in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. You can earn it by completing Operations missions and finding Servo Skulls. There are three types of Armory Data points– green, purple, and gold.

Go to your loadout menu in settings. Hover your mouse over the weapon variant you want to max out. Left-click it to use up an Armory Data point.

The only downside to this trick is that you won’t earn any Weapon XP. 

How to use Mastery Points?

Mastery Points can be used to unlock different Weapon Perks. These parks can provide an additional boost to your weapon of choice, for example, better accuracy, power boost, increased damage, and more.

The types of perks available will depend on your weapon Tier. As expected, higher Tiers offer better perks. 

These changes are reversible. You can always revert back and change whatever isn’t working out. Remember, everyone’s loadout is unique to them.
