Paul Atreides Meets the Sandworm and Feyd-Rautha in Dune 2 Teaser

Paul Atreides is ready to mount a sandworm in a new teaser for Dune: Part Two, which also gives a glimpse of the infamous Feyd-Rautha. 

The second part of Denis Villeneuve’s ambitious adaptation of the classic sci-fi novel, Dune: Part Two will follow Paul’s adventures with the Fremen and introduce several new exciting characters, including two Oscar-nominated actors, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan and Austin Butler as the wicked Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen.

The first teaser trailer for the movie was released today by Warner Bros. Pictures before Dune: Part Two hits’ theaters on November 3. Watch it here:

In the 45-second teaser, Paul (Timothée Chalamet) summons one of Dune’s iconic sandworms with a thumper.

Next, we see the faces of many main characters – such as Chani (Zendaya), Lady Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson), Princess Irulan, Stilgar (Javier Bardem), Gurney Halleck (Josh Brolin), and Glossu Rabban (Dave Bautista) before getting the first glimpse of Butler’s Feyd-Rautha.

Paul is ready to mount a sandworm in the Dune: Part Two trailer teaser, which is a sign of maturity for the Fremen. 

This probably happens early in the movie, as Paul joined the tribe at the end of Dune and wants to show his value to the Fremen. The teaser also gives another look at Princess Irulan, the emperor’s daughter. 

In the teaser, she has a fancy piece with jewels that covers most of her head.

The teaser gives the public the first glimpse of Butler’s villain after the first Dune 2 footage was shown at CinemaCon. Butler changes his appearance again as Feyd-Rautha after getting an Oscar nomination for playing a beloved icon in Elvis. This time, he looks bald, pale, and very evil. 

Feyd-Rautha is the nephew and heir of Baron Vladimir Harkonnen (Stellan Skarsgård) on Arrakis, and he is as wicked, smart, and dishonest as his uncle. Hopefully, the film will answer all the bubbling questions from the teaser and make the experience worth remembering!
