The franchise hopes to crowdfund enough episodes to create a fourth season titled Dropkick on My Devil! NEXT. The staff provided a breakdown of the expenses required for production. They explained that the production cost for making a one-cours (quarter of a year) anime is about 300 million yen. They will require 30 million yen to create one episode.
It was disclosed that the staff will add another episode to the season for every additional 30 million raised. The staff plans on screening the episodes at events and also streaming them. A “Jashin-chan Festival” event is planned for May 4, 2023.
If the campaign can manage to generate enough to produce 12 episodes, the episodes will be compiled and broadcast as an official fourth season of the anime.
