  • Start ‘The Droidsmith’ quest by traveling to Akiva’s Orbit and docking the Trailblazer on the planet.
  • Visit the Cantina, speak with the Bartender, and gather intel on Surat’s location.
  • Follow the waypoint to meet Surat, triggering a cutscene that sets Kay’s mission to rescue Gedeek in motion.
  • With the Imperial Base’s location revealed, hop on your Speeder and follow the waypoint until you reach the base’s entrance.
  • With the help of Nix, take down the two Stormtroopers at the laser door and then use your Slicing Kit to disable the lasers to gain entry.
  • Scale the yellow wall to reach the outside platform, beginning your infiltration of the Imperial Base to extract Gedeek.

2. Tackling Guards and Turrets

  • Upon reaching the platform, survey the area for the positions of the three guards.
  • Wait for the two patrolling guards to pass by, head to the opposite end, and stun the solitary guard near the terminal.
  • As the patrolling guards separate, take down the closer one first, followed by the remaining guard, using stealth to avoid detection.
  • Access the terminal and proceed left towards the large door, where a turret is positioned above.
  • Use your Blaster’s shock feature to disable and destroy the turret without making noise.
  • Before entering, look up and right to spot and shock another turret, ensuring you’re standing outside to avoid alerting the guards inside.
  • If detected, quickly eliminate the guards and prevent them from sounding the alarm.

3. Accessing Vents

  • With the turrets neutralized, swiftly proceed through the hallway into the control room, where a lone guard awaits.
  • Sneak up and take him down silently, then access the computer terminal.
  • Next, exit into a large room with three guards: one centered at the far end and one on either side.
  • Use your Blaster to stun the central guard, then stealthily tackle the remaining two guards.
  • With the area clear, take the lift in the right corner to the next room and navigate to the vent.
  • Employ your grappling hook to bridge a large gap and scale a wall, reaching another vent.

4. Disabling the Central Turret

  • Upon exiting the vent, you’ll enter a large room with a central turret that will target you with bullets.
  • To disable it, use the room’s cover to move left and crouch behind a wall.
  • Employ your Blaster to shock the turret, temporarily stunning it, and create an opportunity to advance.
  • Make your way to the lower left corner, where an energy barrier is located, periodically stunning the turret as needed.
  • Once beside the barrier, instruct Nix to bypass it and disable the switch.
  • With the barrier down, proceed into the room and take the lift to the upper area.
  • Find and activate the central lever to summon a crate on the elevated conveyor system.
  • Stand near the crate and command Nix to reverse its direction.
  • Grab the crate’s right side and ride it into the control room.
  • Access the computer to shut down the turret, then take the elevator behind it to reach Gedeek.

5. Rescuing Gedeek Obaz

  • Enter the far right door to trigger a cutscene, where Gedeek agrees to join Kay’s crew.
  • Exit through the backdoor, engage in combat with a group of Stormtroopers, and clear the area.
  • Proceed through the right-side door, facing more guards, and continue pushing forward.
  • Eventually, you’ll reach a lift, but it will malfunction, forcing you to fend off waves of guards before it becomes operational.
  • Take the lift to the upper area and fight through more guards to reach the outside deck of the Imperial Base.
  • Clear the deck of Imperial guards, then head to the far side, where a protruding branch offers an escape route.
  • Utilize your grappling hook to swing out of the base and onto the branch, making your escape.
  • From there, follow the winding pathway as it scales the cliffside to reach your Speeder.
  • Pilot your Speeder out of the Imperial zone and use fast travel to return to the Trailblazer.

And Mission accomplished! With this guide, you can now complete the Droidsmith quest in Star Wars Outlaws, adding a new friend to your Trailblazer crew!
