Netflix, the streaming platform giant, has already produced multiple original online series. Its latest target is anime. Anime has snatched up millions of Western audiences, and streaming sites are slowly recognizing its potential.

Japan Sinks (2020), Devilman Crybaby and Great Pretender are some of the already produced Netflix original series. All of these anime titles are doing exceptionally well. Thus Netflix is making further decisions to create more anime.

Dragon’s Dogma, the RPG game, is the next in line to receive an anime series. The official Twitter account of Netflix Japan Anime has released a new trailer for the upcoming anime with the Japanese and English cast for Dragon’s Dogma.

Dragon’s Dogma will premiere exclusively on Netflix on 17th September. It will have seven episodes, each named after one of the seven deadly sins. In each episode, Ethan will be facing a monster who is connected to one of the sins.

Studio Sublimation animates Dragon’s Dogma. Sublimation is known for its 3D & CGI animation effects. It was involved with the animation of Psycho-Pass and Love! Live! Sunshine!

About Dragon’s Dogma

Dragon’s Dogma is a hack and slash action RPG game launched by Capcom in 2012 for PS3 and XBOX 360. The game later received an enhanced edition called Dark Arisen for other consoles.

The game follows the protagonist who’s heart gets stolen when a dragon attacks his village Cassardis.

After getting his heart stolen, the protagonist stays alive and becomes an existence known as the ” Arisen.”

The Arisen, followed by human-like beings called Pawns, must defeat the dragon and stop the upcoming apocalypse.
