Zaboera attacks Crocodine and his crew with the giant zombie in episode 77 of Dragon Quest, titled “The Other Hero.”
The supreme being zombie was one tough opponent. Not even Lon Beruk was able to do anything against him. However, it was Nova’s turn to shine, and he was ready to make the ultimate sacrifice to protect the magic circle from the giant monster.
Lon Beruk didn’t let that happen and instead brought forth his strongest weapon to defeat the zombie. It was a cool two sword weapon he had been hiding all this time.
It was good to see that the anime focused on the side characters for once, giving them some depth and development. Now, that annoying Zaboera is gone for good.

Episode 78 Speculations
Hyunckel’s battle with the underworld monsters will get tough thanks to a new appearance in episode 78 of Dragon Quest, titled “The Survivor from Hell.”
It didn’t look like Hyunckel would face any problem dealing with those low-level monsters, but unfortunately, there are always some strong monsters waiting for the right moment to come and attack our protagonist.
It looks like someone will enter to help our protagonist deal with the new villain. Who is he, and what is he going to do? We will find out in the next episode. Let’s wait and watch.
Episode 78 Release Date
Episode 78 of the Dragon Quest: The Adventures of Dai anime, titled “The Survivor from Hell”, has been released on Friday, May 20, 2022.

No, episode 78 of Dragon Quest is not on break this week. The episode will be released as scheduled.
Episode 77 Recap
Zaboera has turned into the supreme being zombie, and no attack is able to do any harm to him. All the blows can’t even put a single scratch on him. Even Lon Beruk’s sword got broken because of the hard skin of the zombie.
They are not able to find any way to defeat the monster. They try to burn him with their inferno flames, but even that doesn’t affect him. Lon Beruk tells Nova that they need some kind of ultimate weapon to defeat the monster.
Nova decides to use his strongest technique to defeat the zombie. He picks up a broken sword and transfers his life force into it. Everyone is shocked to see the once selfish Nova take such a selfless step just to defeat the zombie.
Lon Beruk is moved by his action. When Nova moves ahead to attack the zombie with the sword, Beruk interferes and stops him. He tells Nova that it is useless for him to give away his life just to defeat the monster.
Beruk realizes that there was no reason for him not to risk his life when Nova, who is not even half his age, is ready to die.
He takes out his ultimate weapon, a giant skull. Zaboera attacks the skull, but his sword is broken thanks to the rigid surface. Lon Beruk reveals that it took him centuries to build this weapon. Suddenly the sull bursts, and two swords come out of it.
Lon Beruk calls them the Star Emperor swords. They can be used only once. He finally attacks Zaboera and finishes him. Unfortunately, the sword is so mighty that it renders his hands useless.
Nova is sad to see Beruk going to such lengths just to save his life. He decides to be with Beruk for his entire life and help him make swords and weapons.
Zaboera slowly tries to escape but meets Crocodine at the end.
About Dragon Quest: Dai no Daiboken (2020)
Dragon Quest is an anime and manga series based on the rpg video game of the same name.
The story features Dai, a boy living in the Dermline Islands and his quest of becoming a hero and realizing his powers and helping Princess Leona along the way.
The games were adapted into two major television series. Dragon Quest: The Adventures of Dai is the remake of the 1991 series which had 46 episodes in total.
