Dragon Quest Episode 66 Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Episode 65 of Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai, titled “The Dark Hyunckel,” is the latest installment of the anime.

In this episode, Hyunckel overcomes Mystvearn’s Dark Aura and powerups. Dai and the others join him to fight the dark army. Mystvearn is shocked but still tries to fight them.

Fortunately, Lord Beruk has decided to help the good side and faces Mystvearn himself.

Also, when Popp saw Hyunckel’s insignia glow, he became nervous since he was the only one whose insignia didn’t shine. Will his willpower strengthen as Leona performs the Kaglimmer spell? We’ll find out in the next episode.

Episode 66 Speculation

In the next episode, the ritual of Kaglimmer will begin. All the disciples of Avan have gathered with their insignias.

Mystvearn tries to stop the spell, but Lon Berk thwarts him. Crocodine and the others also fight to protect the five disciples from the dark army.

With everyone working hard, I really hope that the spell succeeds without any problems.

Episode 65 Recap

 It’s high noon, and Crocodine and Hyunckel’s execution is about to take place. Mystvearn gives Hyunckel one last offer and asks him to drink his Dark Aura and become his disciple. Crocodine urges Hyunckel not to turn dark, but despite the warning, he accepts it.

After drinking the Dark Aura, Hyunckel’s white hair turns black, and the darkness starts taking over. Crocodine watches his friend but recalls that Hyunckel had asked him to trust him.

He takes a leap of faith and starts encouraging Hyunckel, asking him to hang in there and not lose his light.

Hyunckel overcomes the darkness which shocks Mystvearn. He finds it hard to believe that Hyunckel was able to suppress the Dark Aura.

Hyunckel reveals that because his Light Aura could vanquish Mystvearn’s darkness, he has become even more powerful than before.

After this powerup, Hyunckel easily defeats the guards, and shortly, Dai, Popp, Maam, and princess Leona launches an attack from under the ground. We see that it was Maam who asked the team to hang and trust Hyunckel to overcome the darkness.

Queen Flora and her army also begin their attack and fight against the dark army. King Vearn then communicates with Mystvearn, reassuring him that he trusts him because he’s capable of defeating them all. Just as Mystvearn readies to attack Dai, Lon Beruk interrupts him and asks him to fight him first.

About Dragon Quest: Dai no Daiboken (2020)

Dragon Quest is an anime and manga series based on the rpg video game of the same name.

The story features Dai, a boy living in the Dermline Islands and his quest of becoming a hero and realizing his powers and helping Princess Leona along the way.

The games were adapted into two major television series. Dragon Quest: The Adventures of Dai is the remake of the 1991 series which had 46 episodes in total.
