Dragon Quest Episode 65 Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Episode 64 of Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai, titled “The Night Before the Battle,” is the latest installment of the anime.

In this episode, we saw everyone prepare for the battle against King Vearn. Lord Beruk presented everyone with brand-new weapons and renewed their strength.

There is some tension between Amy and Maam because both of them have feelings for Hyunckel, but this isn’t a roadblock in their friendship.

Dai has a pleasant dream where he promises his parents that he’s going to win. As the final battle commences, will Dai and his friends defeat King Vearn once and for all? We’ll find out in the next episode.

Episode 65 Speculation

We’ll see Hyunckel and Crocodine’s execution inching closer in the next episode. In an attempt to make Hyunckel his disciple, Mystvearn will try to corrupt him using dark magic.

Previously, we saw how Hyunckel had agreed to Mystvearn’s proposition and asked Crocodine to trust him. I think Hyunckel will take this as an opportunity to win Vearn’s trust and betray him later on in the battle.

No, episode 65 of Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai is not on a break and will continue as per schedule.

Episode 64 Recap

Lord Beruk visits the castle and returns Dai his sword with an enhanced scabbard. The blade will help him perform better in the battle because of the powerup.

He also brings back Hyunckel’s dark armor spear along with special equipment for everyone else.

Beruk presents Hyunckel’s spear, an ax for Popp, and a dark armor fist for Maam. After the weapons are placed in front of them, Amy confesses her love for Hyunckel and asks if she could give it to him after his rescue.

Everyone except for Maam is happy. Maam feels uneasy after the confession and excuses herself saying that she’ll take Popp’s ax and give it to him.

Back in the forest, Popp is still unable to make his Insignia glow. Maam visits him and shows him the new weapon. Just as Popp starts to examine it, she brings up her confused emotions about Hyunckel.

Popp is distressed when he hears this and tells Maam to think about such things a day before the battle.

Maam feels hurts but apologizes to Popp and runs away. Regretting his actions, Popp promises himself that he will figure out how to make his Insignia glow and become valuable during the battle.

We then cut back to the castle where Lord Beruk has decided to join forces with Dai and the others.

As the preparations continue, Dai feels nervous and is unable to sleep. He decides to take a walk and stumbles upon Merle. He tells her his plight, and Merle offers him some dream pills.

Dai thanks her for the pills and drifts away in slumber. He dreams about his parents and where he tells them not to worry. He also promises that he’s going to win and save his friends.

In the morning, Dai is in a very good mood because of the dream. All the preparations are complete, and they head towards Vearn’s lair, where Hyunckel and Crocodine are about to get executed.

About Dragon Quest: Dai no Daiboken (2020)

Dragon Quest is an anime and manga series based on the rpg video game of the same name.

The story features Dai, a boy living in the Dermline Islands and his quest of becoming a hero and realizing his powers and helping Princess Leona along the way.

The games were adapted into two major television series. Dragon Quest: The Adventures of Dai is the remake of the 1991 series which had 46 episodes in total.
