Dragon Quest Episode 64: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Episode 63 of Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai, titled “The Sacred Inheritance,” is the latest installment of the anime.

In this episode, Flora and her team finally obtained the Kaglimmer spell. They took a chance, and they didn’t stop their quest despite not reaching the 25th floor. Dai discovers a new attack as fast as the arrow type and as powerful as the break type.

Popp still struggles to make his Insignia glow. Will he finally achieve his goal like his friends? We’ll find out in the next episode.

Episode 64 Speculation

In the next episode, Lord Beruk will reveal all the other weapons that he restored. He will also present the group with new weapons that will help them win against Vearn.

Maam and Amy have started behaving strangely ever since their return from the caves so, we’ll see if there’s a misunderstanding between them.

Popp is still struggling to make his Insignia of Avan glow, but this is his biggest trial yet, and he must overcome it. Tensions also begin to arise as the battle approaches.

Yes, Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai is on a break for one week and will continue as per schedule after the break.

Episode 63 Recap

The episode begins with Flora and her team falling down after the ground beneath them collapses. After they pick themselves up, she announces that they’ve completed ten hours and need to head back. 

Leona interrupts her and urges them to go on and find the Kaglimmer because there is no guarantee that they’ll make it back in ten hours.

Further, she says that they’re hoping to achieve the great miracle of defeating Vearn, and how can they hope such a big thing if they can’t pull off a small one first? Flora is impressed by Leona and orders the group to move forward.

We then cut to Dai and Nova’s training. Dai masters the Avan Strash but feels that the move isn’t enough to counter Vearn’s Kaiser Phoenix.

He thinks of a new technique and asks Nova to take his stance. He then invents a new attack as fast as the arrow type and as powerful as the break type.

This new attack crushes Nova’s Aura sword into pieces and blows off some portion of the forest they’re practicing in. Dai feels happy to see that his technique worked but remarks that only a tiny percentage of the Kaiser could be deflected by this. He also says that his timing was slightly off, and he resumed training.

Meanwhile, Flora and the others reach the 25th floor. Leona positions herself on the pedestal and begins the ritual of asking the Gods to grant her the Kaglimmer spell. A wall of flames engulfs her and explains how this is the Gods testing Leona to determine if she’s capable of obtaining the Kaglimmer.

Just then, an army of monsters starts attacking them, and Maam and Leona fight them off while they wait for the test to be over. When Leona is finally granted access, she calls her teammates to form a pentagon to complete the ritual.

The girls successfully obtain the Kaglimmer and quickly head back out of the Cave of Trials.

Popp sees them return and is disheartened because he feels like a liability. He goes to his master and asks him why he is so weak. His mater tells him that he isn’t weak and just needs to believe in himself.

After a heart-to-heart conversation with his master, Popp decides that he needs to work ten times harder than the others and rushes off to train.

Back at the castle, Lord Beruk visits them and tells them that Hyunckel’s Dark Armor Spear and the Sword of Dai came back to him after their battle with Vearn. As the episode ends, we see Dai unsheathing his sword and revealing its true power.

Dragon Quest is an anime and manga series based on the rpg video game of the same name.

The story features Dai, a boy living in the Dermline Islands and his quest of becoming a hero and realizing his powers and helping Princess Leona along the way.

The games were adapted into two major television series. Dragon Quest: The Adventures of Dai is the remake of the 1991 series which had 46 episodes in total.
