Dragon Ball Super chapter 70 is out, and Granolah’s newly acquired power has astonished Elec’s gang. He became much stronger than before but at what cost?
The dragon gave him a tremendous amount of power in exchange for a greater sacrifice.
Granolah’s powers remain untested, and we do not know how powerful he actually is. He did defeat Oil and Macki out of Elec’s companions, but until he is pitted against someone like Goku, Vegeta, or Frieza, we cannot be sure.
Fortunately for us, that is exactly what is going to happen in this arc.
- The Reckless Exchange
So what was the price that Granolah had to pay for becoming the most powerful person in the universe? His lifespan.
Cerealeans live for 200 years of age, and Granolah is only 50. However, his strength was multiplied by condensing all the power that he would have accumulated in his lifetime.
Now, Granola is only left with three years of time to defeat Frieza. Thus, he tells Elec to hurry up and report Frieza’s location as fast as he can.
- Can Granolah Use Both Hakai and Ultra Instinct?
Granolah is seen exploding a huge boulder as soon as he attains his new powers. Not only did the boulder explode and disperse, but it also sent a massive shock wave around it.
At Elec’s place, when Oil throws a huge chunk of building towards him, he disperses it into particles. This is similar to how Beerus destroyed Zamasu by using Hakai.
Thus it is confirmed that Granolah can now use the Hakai. In fact, he himself was astonished at his new power when he first used it.
However, we still don’t know if Granolah can use Ultra Instinct. On the other hand, Goku is getting better and better at it, and it is possible for him to achieve the second level of UI by the time he faces Granolah.
- Is Granolah the Strongest Warrior in the Universe?
The dragon that granted Granolah’s wish clearly told him that it is impossible to attain power that goes beyond his capacity.
His power from the rest of 150 years of his lifespan was condensed, but the possibility of another powerful being appearing is too great to be ignored.
It has already been decided that Frieza will come face-to-face with Goku and Vegeta at one point. Elec might misdirect Granolah to them. Since Goku and Vegeta are Saiyans, Granolah will attack them without even thinking carefully.
All that is left is to contemplate who exactly will emerge victorious from this upcoming bout. Will Goku save the day yet again, or will Vegeta finally get the spotlight he deserves?
