The chapter begins with Goku and Broly facing each other while the narrative describes Broly’s power and childhood. He spent many years with his father, who was plotting vengeance against King Vegeta for what he had done to him. 

They were discovered years later by Lemo and Cheelai, and his father believed they were finally being rescued. They were sent to Earth on their ship, and shortly after the Tournament of Power, they disrupted the brief moment of peace to attack Goku and Vegeta.

The following pages describe what we have already seen in the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie, with Frieza attacking Broly’s father and Broly gaining a power boost because of it. After being defeated, he returns to the planet he was on and starts living with Lemo and Cheelai.

The good news is that this is Gogeta’s manga debut, and he is officially canon. Fast forward to the current day, and Broly begins to reach Super Saiyan mode, much to Goku’s surprise. Goku says that he cannot lose control in this manner, and Broly apologizes. As Goku asks Vegeta to say something to him, we see that Vegeta is concentrating and has his eyes closed.

Goku claims that he has been meditating for too long and that his body would stiffen. Vegeta orders him to stop, and Goku remarks on how much he’s changed, saying that he never imagined Vegeta could do something like that. Vegeta adds that fighting all those strong opponents taught him that inner calmness is essential for being stronger.

On the other hand, Beerus gets skeptical of Broly being on his planet. But then he sees Chilai and tastes Lemo’s food and allows Broly, Lemo, and Cheelai to stay on his planet. Cut to Piccolo, he is still spying on the Red Ribbon Army and suggests going along with a soldier to kidnap Pan so that he can incite Gohan to step up.

Piccolo and the soldier are then shown on their way to capture Pan, and the scene cuts to Goku and Vegeta sparring just like in the movie, while Beerus and Whis enjoy ice cream and Whis ignores Bulma’s SOS call. The chapter ends here, concluding almost half of the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie.
