In the previous chapter, the fight against Gas appeared to be finally over.
Goku and Vegeta were seriously injured and struggling against Gas. They got assistance from Granolah. Granolah had the power to defeat Gas but it came with a cost. It affects the lifespan of the user.
He managed to hit Gas with his superpowered attack with the help of Goku and Vegeta. What will be the consequences of using this power for Granolah?

1. Chapter 87 Discussions and Predictions
After their fight with Gas, Goku and Vegeta were seriously injured. They are both sad to have to rely on Granolah to defeat Gas rather than doing it themselves. As a result, they will both agree to continue training and perfecting their new forms.
This pledge to practice and refine their new forms, Goku’s Ultra Instinct and Vegeta’s Ultra Ego, could be a foreshadowing of a more powerful transformation in the future. But if Goku wants to perfect his True Ultra Instinct, he still has a long way to go.
Granolah believes his life span was once again reduced as a result of the beating Gas received because the technique he used to defeat Gas was intended to kill the user. In the following chapter, we will see what this has in store for us.

Chapter 87 of the Dragon Ball Super manga has been released on Friday, Aug 19, 2022. The chapter title has not been leaked yet.
3. Chapter 87 Raw Scans, Leaks
The raw scans for chapter 87 “The Greatest Warrior in the Universe Revealed” have been leaked. Goku and Vegeta look unhappy with their victory, probably because Granolah took the final shot.
Vegeta promises he will keep improving till he surpasses Goku. Granolah then falls to the ground, coughing. He reveals that because of his technique, his lifespan is further reduced to three years.
They all suspect if Gas did the same thing to become the strongest. Monaito then examines Granolah and heals him completely.
He then heals Goku and Vegeta and remarks that he never expected his technique to improve at this time. Elec begins to leave the scene, remarking it was stupid to believe the dragon balls would make him the strongest. He leaves Gas behind, calling him trash. In the last panel, Monaito’s body gets pierced by a beam.

Chapter 86 of Dragon Ball Super is titled “An All Out Bout”.
The chapter begins with a supercharged Gas breaking Goku’s neck with telekinesis.
Goku frees himself by teleporting behind him, but when he tries to attack Gas, he is hit with a powerful blow. Goku cautions Gas that his power and body are no longer balanced since his body is burning like fuel.
Gas spins a tornado around Goku and blasts many Ki rays at his body. It slashes Goku’s body.
Elec is pleased to see his brother battling in this manner, but Maki questions if it is the best way for Gas to win the battle.
Meanwhile, Granolah appears and tells Goku that he should remember the voice of Bardock. He also tells him about his future scheme. Goku wishes to buy Granolah some time to prepare for the attack.
To stop Gas, Goku kicks him in the stomach. Gas, on the other hand, hits Goku and pushes him to the ground. He immediately tosses the Ki ball at Granolah, but Goku acts as a barrier.
He is determined to destroy Granolah at whatever cost, so he strikes Goku with Ki attacks until he falls asleep. Vegeta, on the other hand, arrives to assist Granolah. On the other hand, Oil and Maki have joined Gas.
Finally, in chapter 86, Goku and Granolah defeat Gas. Granolah, though, requests Oil and Maki to take Gas home without killing him. He has no desire to exact vengeance.
The chapter concludes with Gas on the ground. He seemed to have been defeated.
