I. Goku vs. Granolah
Chapter 73 continues with the epic fight between Goku and Granolah. Even’s Goku’s Super Saiyan Blue transformation wasn’t much of a threat to Granolah, so he combines Ultra Instinct with it.
The fight goes on for a while, and gradually Granolah copes up with Goku’s speed. Soon, Granolah perfectly lands another attack on Goku’s vital point followed by a huge explosion that looks identical to Moro’s signature move.
Meanwhile, Vegeta is investigating the ruins of the city, and he recalls the old tales of a tribe with specialized right eyes for sniping. It was the Saiyans who annihilated the race under Freeza’s command many years ago.
It didn’t take them long to realize that Macki and Oil have played them from the very beginning. However, it’s too late to talk things out with Granolah, so they decide to tell him the truth after defeating him.
II. The Shocking Revelation
Thus, with no other option left, Goku resorts to his ultimate Ultra Instinct transformation, which is supposed to have no vital points. The course of the fight changes completely, with Granolah barely managing to react to Goku’s swift movements.
Just when Vegeta thought that Goku stole the show again, Granolah reveals that Goku was fighting his clone till now. He had his powers divided to save strength to fight Freeza, but it seems he had underestimated the Saiyans.
Granolah shows up with his real body and knocks Goku out in a single blow. Again, it’s Goku’s bad habit of lowering his guard at the wrong moments, and this time pays a high price for it.
III. The Saiyan Prince Steps in
Vegeta steps into the fight and bluntly states that he will bring extinction upon the Cerealian race by killing Granolah. That’s something that only the Prince of Saiyan can say so confidently.
