Dragon Ball Super Chapter 63: Release Date, Scans, Spoilers, Discussions

Dragon Ball Super manga is currently in the middle of the Moro arc.

The much-awaited battle between the wizard whom even the gods feared, Planet-eater Moro, and the Saiyan who reached acquired the technique of the gods, Son Goku, has begun!

In just a couple of chapters, Moro has turned the tables! First, he absorbed Seven Three and reverted to his former glory, then he took Vegeta’s powers, including Spirit Fission.

However, chapter 62 ended with a ray of hope as Angel Merus arrives on Earth, likely ready to take on the planet-eater.

Now, it’s time to discuss how everyone will beat Moro in his new and strongest form in chapter 63.

1. Chapter 63 Raw Scans, Leaks & Spoilers

Raw scans for Chapter 63 of the Dragon Ball Super manga have not yet been released.

The chapter starts with Agent/angel Merus fighting Merus while Dende heals Goku and other Z fighters. Goku then enters the battlefield with Ultra Instinct Sign but is defeated by Moro in an instant.

After defeating Goku, Moro sneaks and tries to hold Merus’ neck so he could copy his abilities. But Merus uses his Angel Staff to stop it and Moro fails to copy. Using his Angel staff and a gun, Merus destroys the Crystals/Stones Moro had in both of his hands.

After doing so, Merus begins to attack Moro as his angel holo appears along with Beerus and Whis arriving on the battlefield.

Merus then begins to fade away in pieces after breaking all the Seven-Three crystals on Moro’s body as he smiles at Goku and says something.

The chapters with a depressed Goku standing in front of Moro while Beerus and Whis are talking about Merus.

2. Chapter 62 Release Date & Highlights

Chapter 63 of the Dragon Ball Super manga will release on Thursday, August 20. The title for the next chapter has not been revealed yet.

In the next chapter, we will see how Z fighters react to Moro’s new powers now that he has absorbed Vegeta’s powers as well and Moro’s reaction to the entry of Angel Merus.

3. Chapter 63 Speculations and Predictions

Chapter 62 was surely breathtaking, but the next one is definitely going to be better.

I have some predictions and speculations of Dragon Ball Super 63 for you, let’s begin!

I. Will Merus attack?

This is the biggest question looming over everybody’s mind. Galactic Patrol’s #1 agent, Agent Merus, has not entered the battlefield to defeat Moro.

But, it was recently revealed that his superpowers are a result of his angelic heritage, i.e., Agent Merus is a trainee angel – a subordinate to Whis.

We all know that angels, unlike Gods of Destruction, are not allowed to meddle in the affairs of mortals, and Merus defeating Moro will be a direct violation of that rule.

On the other hand, Merus was with Whis before arriving on the Earth, and Whis wouldn’t have let him leave for Earth if a workaround didn’t exist.

So, the real question is, What is that workaround that made Whis allow Merus? Will Merus now fight and defeat Moro?

II. Will Goku & Vegeta Fuse?

Fusion was the most likely option for Z-warriors to defeat Moro once and for all. However, this plan can no longer happen now that Moro has absorbed Vegeta’s powers.

With Spirit Fission in his hands, Goku and Vegeta cannot fuse and will have to come up with something else to discuss their strongest adversary yet.

It is safe to say that by the end of this arc, Goku will have wholly mastered Ultra Instinct Sign, if not the entire Ultra Instinct itself.

4. Is Dragon Ball Super On a Break?

Dragon Ball Super manga is published under Shueisha’s V Jump magazine, which is a monthly magazine that comes out on the 20th of every month.

Chapter 63 of the Dragon Ball Super manga is not on a break this month. It will be released as per the monthly schedule.

5. Chapter 62 Recap

The chapter starts with Vegeta attacking Moro with his full power (Super Saiyan Blue Evolution) while Moro easily beats the Saiyan Prince.

Moro then goes on to touch Vegeta’s neck and copies his ability, which leaves Z-fighters in a shock as Goku and Vegeta cannot fuse anymore.

Everyone, including Goku, begins to attack Moro but is defeated brutally. 

With Moro now having Piccolo’s regeneration abilities, he manages to impale both Goku and Piccolo, and both of our them are now lying on the ground in a near-death state. 

Dende tries to sneak into the battlefield and heal Goku while Krillin tries the same to deliver Senzu beans. Both of them are stopped as Moro notices them and creates an energy-based shield/dome.

The chapter ends with Whis and Merus arriving on Earth – Whis removes the energy dome while Merus begins to attack Moro as a Galactic Patrol agent.
