Dragon Ball Super Chapter 59 – Release Date, Raw Scans, Spoilers, Where To Read & Story Updates

Dragon Ball Super is currently in the middle of the Galactic Prisoner Arc.

The central antagonist, Planet-eater Moro, decided to wait for a few months before destroying the Earth and Goku & Vegeta are training to defeat him.

Well, the time period got over in the previous chapters and the battle reached its peak with the entry of our favorite Saiyajin — Son Goku! 

1. Chapter 59 Release Date & Highlights

Dragon Ball Super Chapter 59 will release on Monday, April 20. Dragon Ball Super manga is published under Shueisha’s V-Jump magazine which is a monthly magazine that comes out on 20th of every month. In the next chapter, we weill likely see the fight between Moro and Goku!

2. Is Dragon Ball Super Chapter 59 On Break Next Month?

No, Dragon Ball Super manga is not on any break this week. However, due to the growing concerns regarding COVID-19 pandemic, we can expect some sort of delay in next month’s issue.

But, that’s a problem for the next month! Make sure to enjoy the April issue.

3. Chapter 59 Speculations/Predictions

Chapter 58 ended with Goku succumbing to Moro’s wishes and showing off his Ultra Instinct form. There are a lot of things that can happen in the next chapter, let’s discuss all of them one-by-one!

Moro vs Goku

The fight between the saiyajin who has reached the level of the gods — Ultra Instinct Goku, and the mage whose existence threatens the entire universe — World-eater Moro, is inevitable. What we are unsure about is the extent of their battle.

In any case, we are going to see a breath-taking battle between the two and the extent of Goku’s growth.

Vegeta Reborn!

The reason I mentioned about being unsure is this theory. Monthly manga have a lot of gap between two chapters so they tend to cover more than one aspect of the story. Most likely, the fight between Moro and Goku will get cut-off mid-way.

The focus will then move to the prince of all saiyajins, Vegeta, who has reached an unprecendented level after training with the Yardratians.

4. Chapter 59 Plot

Chapter 59, titled “Goku Arrives,” was as hyped up as it gets. Just when Muten Roshi and Krillin were about to be goners, Goku came and saved them.

He then moves to Yamcha and Tien’s coordinates after mentioning to Krillin that he is excited to fight Moro who is still likely hiding his true powers. Even there Goku defeats the criminal escapees with one punch that were giving Tien and Yamcha a hard time.

After helping others, Goku teleports to the centre of the battle — Sabanga vs Z warriors. Due to his training with Meerus, Son has reached such heights that Goku, Piccolo and others are unable to catch his moments with the naked eye.

Goku then reveales himself and claims that he has come to defeat Moro, who gives more of his powers to Sabango to fight Goku.

Moro expresses his wish of seeing Goku in his ultra instinct form again to which Goku is initially reluctant. To make him agree, Moro keeps on amping up Sabango’s power which eventually leades to his demise.

The angry saiyajin accepts the call for battle and transforms into his Ultra Instinct form.

When confronted by Moro about UI not being a mortal ability, Goku replies by saying this — “That’s right. The initial stage of the technique of the Gods. ULTRA INSTINCT SIGN!” The chapter then ends here.
