Whis forbids Goku from mistaking Ultra Instinct as some sort of transformation. No matter what form Goku is in, his body should be able to react automatically if he keeps his heart calm and tranquil.

This kind of strategic training may help him reach a whole new level of instant reflex and solve the problem of stamina drain after reaching a time limit.

Meanwhile, Vegeta isn’t far away from Goku to claim the title of ‘Strongest mortal of Universe 7′. Thanks to Beerus’ guidance, he has learned to use the Hakaishin’s signature move.

The latest power upgrades of the two legendary Saiyans have created a drift among the fanbase regarding their different opinions on who’s the strongest.

1. Can Goku Take his Ultra Instinct to a Step Further?

As Whis explained, the most significant difference between an angel and Goku is that angels are always in Ultra Instinct, whereas Goku has to resort to transformation to achieve that level.

Even after the transformation, Goku’s Ultra Instinct isn’t even close to that of Whis or Grand Priest. So, he learns to stay in Ultra Instinct in his normal form to get the hang of it.

This way, he doesn’t have to worry about reaching the limits of his stamina. Coming to the flashy transformation, he can always use it as a trump card.

2. Is Vegeta’s Hakai Stronger than Goku’s Ultra Instinct?

Let’s begin by clarifying that Ultra Instinct isn’t all about brute force; instead, it’s mostly about how well one’s body can react on its own.

On the other hand, Vegeta’s Hakai is more like a final move that pulverizes the opponent. The fact that Beerus has given him a Hakaishin earing confirms that Vegeta has more or less mastered the signature move.

If we think simply, Angel’s technique should be superior to the Gods of Destruction’s signature move because Angel’s are stronger than the Hakaishins.

On the other hand, if we gauge the two techniques on the basis of their explosive nature, Vegeta wins the game. However, as long as Goku has his vintage Kamehameha, he doesn’t have to worry about a final move.

In short, the two techniques are totally different from each other, so it’s hard to compare them. But since Goku has been practicing Ultra Instinct for a longer time period, he should have an upper hand.

For years, we, the fans, have seen Goku surpassing Vegeta over and over again. Will the story be any different this time? Can Vegeta finally claim the title of the strongest with his newfound Hakaishin power? We have to wait for their fight with Granolah to find it out.
