2. Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 6 Recap
The episode started out with Goku and the others losing altitude and crashing into the ground. After their landing, Pansy explained that the ship malfunctioned due to the excessive weight of the items that she had brought inside. They made a small stop there, and Pansy got to fixing the ship. Meanwhile, Goku excused himself for a bathroom break. This was when they were spotted by Gendarmerie, who decided to question them.
After asking a few questions for identity verification, they asked Glorio and the other if they had seen a spiky-haired boy and told them he had a 10 gold coin bounty. After feeling satisfied with their answers, the Gendarmerie left, and Goku returned immediately.
Pansy had the ship fixed quickly, and they took off again. This time, Pansy had quite a few questions to ask Shin. She asked him whether Glinds were born from trees, and Shin told her that it was true and that Glinds are born every few centuries from Glind trees. Goku inferred that Shin must be a plant, and it made sense because Shin never ate food but just had drinks.
After this, Pansy asked Shin why Degesu had never left the demon realm like the other Glinds. To this, Shin replied that Degesu was really ambitious, and he never really got along with the other Glinds, so he decided to stay. Pansy spoke of another Glind she knew, a female mad scientist. Shin told her that Glinds don’t really have genders, but the Glind she was referring to was Arinsu, who happened to be his older sister. He said she had always been a bit of a mad scientist, and she chose to stay because she found the demon world more exhilarating.
It is worth noting that while Shin was talking about Arinsu, Glorio, who was driving the ship, had a slight change in expression, suggesting that he knew something about Arinsu. After nightfall, Glorio said they’d have to land and find a cave to rest in, and they did just that. Goku ate food that Pansy brought and fell asleep quickly. Meanwhile, Pansy asked Glorio whether he was actually from the first demon world because he looked like someone from the third demon world. He reluctantly told her that a really important person scouted him, so he changed his residence.
Later, we got to see Glorio conversing with Arinsu over a communication device, and it was clear that they were plotting something. After this, he slipped back into the sheets where everyone else slept. This was when everyone else was woken up by stomping sounds from a bull-like animal living inside the cave. It threatened to kill and eat all of them for breakfast.
When Glorio decided to take care of the Bull, Goku said he’d do it, which made Glorio feel like he was being undermined. So the two decided to have a duel to see who was stronger. While Goku initially declared that he’d only use one hand, it would seem he had underestimated Glorio a bit too much, so he decided to be a bit more serious about the battle.
Glorio unleashed his magic, a bolt of electricity that could also be used as a whip. This did pack a lot of destructive power, but it was nothing that Goku couldn’t deal with. Goku then went into full-on Super Saiyan mode (which looks a little off on the smaller version of Goku), and he easily thwarted Glorio’s strongest attack, forcing him into defeat.
Meanwhile, we got to see what was happening on Earth after quite a while. Bulma finally managed to get the ship fixed, and Vegeta, Kibito, and Piccolo hopped in to follow the others. However, the ship came crashing down right after ascending by a few meters. The episode came to an anticlimactic close with this.
3. What To Expect In Episode 7?
Although the ship that Bulma worked on did break down, we know that help is coming their way so we can expect Vegeta and the others to be heading to the demon world next episode regardless of the breakdown of the ship.
With episode 6, it has been confirmed that Glorio is plotting something with Shin’s older sister, Arinsu, so we can hope to know more about this next episode, but we’re more likely to see Goku and the others simply traveling in the next episode.
